“Juniper Networks Academic Alliance: Compelling Reasons to Add New Technology to Your Classrooms”

Nicholas Xenos leads Juniper Networks’ global Academic Alliance, responsible for a cohesive strategy to establish academic relationships with selected leading universities, colleges and other academic institutions that are known to specialize in studies of engineering, mathematics, algorithm research, software development, microelectronics, and telecommunication.

He has over 25 years experience leading and implementing worldwide training programs. During his career, he designed FileNet’s global certification program, created the original Cisco’s Learning Partner Program, and was a key member of the nine member team that created the Certified Cisco Internetworking Expert (CCIE) program. He managed training partnerships, instructor training and certification at Novell. He is actively involved in a number of academic advisory boards, and participates actively to close the industry/academia gap. Nicholas is a veteran and US Navy Captain (Ret.) with over 27 years experience in various capacities leading and guiding the world’s largest training organization, the US Navy.
